Breaking news that might affect the 2009 tournament. A protest has been filed with the World Bocce League and the US Bocce Federation to disallow the results of the 2009 WCB tournament.
Attorneys for Mr. Larry Terry released the following statement to the media:
"The tourney was conducted in violation of USBF Rule 28(b)i-Selective Disenfranchisement (The Guissepi Garabaldi rule in Italy). Rule 28(b)i clearly states that "no tournament shall be scheduled unless both the previous champion and runner-up shall be present to defend those titles." Tourney organizers found the 2008 runner-up (Larry "The Hammer" Terry) conveniently out of the country and hastily organized the tourney to disenfranchise him and intall inferior talent with the crown."
Mr. Terry has vowed to take his case all the way to the High Court of Bocce in Rome, Italy. Further details will be made available as they become known.

Measuring
At White City Bocce there are many common sights. Rotating use of measuring tape (here used by Mr. Craig Schultz), knit ties, traditional white clothing, colorful sneakers, the soft grass of one of the three courts utilized by the club, autumn leaves. All of it combine to make a picaresque setting that can only mean one thing: bocce!
